1. Who we are

The controller of your personal data is GENY SYSTEMS S.R.L., a Romanian limited liability company with its registered office at Str. Amman nr. 4, bl. 4, sc. A, et. 8, ap. 53, Sector 1, București, Romania, registered with the Trade Register under no. J40/10543/2021, CUI RO44454432.

2. What we process and why

Technical data needed to deliver the site. geny.ai is hosted on GitHub Pages, operated by GitHub, Inc. When you load a page, the hosting provider processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested, to deliver the site and keep it secure. We do not receive or analyse these logs.

Preferences stored in your browser. The site remembers your chosen language and colour theme in your browser's local storage (keys geny-language and geny-theme). These values stay on your device and are not sent to us.

Messages you send us. Forms on this site do not send data to our servers. They open your own email program with a message to info@geny.ai that you can review before sending. If you send it, we process your name, email address and message to reply to you.

We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies on geny.ai, and we do not run a newsletter.

3. Third-party resources

To display icons, the site loads the Material Icons font from Google Fonts, operated by Google LLC. When your browser requests the font, Google receives your IP address. The Inter text font, images and videos are served from geny.ai itself.

4. Legal bases

We process technical data and answer your messages on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and responding to people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where you contact us about using our products or services, we process your message to take steps at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

5. How long we keep data

We keep emails only as long as needed to handle your request and any relationship that follows from it, and longer only where the law requires it. Browser preferences remain on your device until you clear them.

6. Who receives data

We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by the providers that make the site and our email work: GitHub, Inc. (hosting), Google LLC (icon font) and our email service provider.

GitHub and Google are based in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the safeguards those providers offer under the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to info@geny.ai. We reply within one month, as the GDPR requires.

8. Complaints

If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority, Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro. We would appreciate the chance to address your concern first.

We will update this page when the way we process data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
